“Our new media platform will help the general public make the connection between savings and climate”
Video interview with Guillaume Lasserre, Head of Asset Management at LBPAM.

LBPAM is the co-founder of the climate-focused working group within the Think Tank “2030, Investir Demain,” initiated by the media outlets L’AGEFI and ID l’Info Durable. Within this framework, its objective is to empower individual investors to improve their personal climate trajectory through their savings. The third workshop of this working group was dedicated to a new initiative: the creation of a digital platform, a media outlet, aimed at individual investors.
“Ten years after the Paris Climate Agreement, the crucial role that finance must play in combating global warming is becoming increasingly evident. At the individual level, everyone can impact climate change just as significantly as an investor as they can as a consumer—through choices such as transportation or diet,” observes Guillaume Lasserre, Head of Asset Management at LBPAM. However, the general public remains insufficiently informed about how they can reduce their personal carbon footprint through their savings. It is from this observation that the idea emerged to create a digital media platform focused on this theme, aimed at the general public and individual investors.
Initially, the platform will feature two main “entry points”: “I Understand,” designed to help users grasp the subject, and “I Act,” aimed at outlining the actions available to savers through various financial tools and thematic areas,” explains Guillaume Lasserre.
Furthermore, contributors will come from diverse backgrounds, including financial professionals, scientists, NGOs, and actors from the real economy. “Our goal is for this to be a genuine media outlet that maintains a certain neutrality through a collegial, multi-contributor approach, reflecting the spirit of the research conducted within the Think Tank,” emphasizes Guillaume Lasserre. LBPAM will contribute to the editorial line and also serve as one of the content providers for this digital platform.
